But for the most part, when he is dreaming this dream (out loud) he usually states something that he would buy or get, that simply melts my heart. For example, he travels alot with his job. He is “on-call’ 24/7. I would honestly say I am by myself with the kids the majority of the time. I do not have anyone that comes & helps me. It is the 3 kids & I, 80% of the time. Yesterday he said, “If we were to win the lottery, I would hire an on-call nanny for you. So you & Graham could go outside to run & play. The nanny could stay in with Mason & Madison on these cold, windy days. You & Graham could stay outside until it was time to come in. Then the nanny could leave.”
Last night or should I say this morning at 3:18 am, all 3 were crying at the same time. I thought to myself, gosh, I wish I had a nanny to call to help hold a baby or two. Then, like a miracle, Chief shows up. Off from work, tired, had already been up 22 hours straight, he takes Mason & Madison in the nursery chair, and rocks them to sleep. While I got the pleasure of comforting Graham. Not worrying about Mason & Madison. Because I know they are in the best hands possible. I got to hold & comfort Graham without anything else on my mind. Just Graham. I’ll be honest, that doesn’t happen alot in this house. Mason & Madison are always needing something, and lets face it, there’s two of them. So this morning while eating breakfast, I told the Chief, “When you showed up last night, I felt like I won the lottery. The best nanny available had arrived. Thanks.”
THANK YOU!
