Wearing paparazzi sunglasses…off we go to the farm. Many of my friends call me “earthy or green”. Huh! If they only knew. I am really not. However, I just love fresh produce. If it wasn’t for my in-laws, and their garden that is bigger then our house (no kidding!) we would enroll in the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). (CSA is nation-wide, btw) This is one of the best ways to support local farmers, educate yourself on gardening, and know you are getting pure fresh goodness to put on your table. Chief (my hubby) & I talk often about farms, farmers, the amount of work it takes to do a garden, pick/prepare the food, actually getting it to your table, and/or getting the food to the freezer for future storage. The work involved is unbelievable! I truly have no idea just how much work is involved. The CSA is a great program that benefits everyone. The farmers & the consumers. If you are in a community that supports this program we highly recommend it!
I think the above image says it all…don’t you?
