Our trip to DC, part 1. I love Old Alexandria, King Street to be exact. I feel in love with it several years ago when I would visit DC on a more regular basis. Fabulous shops, independent boutiques. old brick sidewalks, bistros, and tapas bars. So fun. The twins & I went for the day, while Chief & Graham went to see cowboys, Indians, & spaceships at the Smithsonian. Here is a few glimpses of King Street.
This store above was the smallest store, but had the most amazing vintage chandeliers, brass angels & gargoyle collection I have ever seen.
I couldn’t wait to run the stroller through some Fall leaves! I even got to do it on brick sidewalks, while drinking some hot apple cider, and enjoying a 65* degree afternoon.

Never has a store captured everything I love all at one place, like the store below. I told the owner/gentleman that, “I feel like I have died and gone to heaven in this store.” We became instant bffs right away. We of course hugged each other goodbye. Until next time, my new friend and champion of all accessories for the home boutique!
The best shopping babies in the world. Loved taking the metro, going for a stroll, and eating all of the yummy snacks & pastries this street had to offer. Not only did this street have a-maz-ing boutiques, they also had Restoration Hardware, Crate & Barrel, and Gap OUTLETS, just to name a few. Yes, I was in 7th heaven.
More DC pics to come!
THANK YOU!
