If you look close you can see these are the new homes for our Charlottes – that Graham & I made last week. We made two Halloween topiaries for our glittery friends. Including butterflies, ladybugs, a glittery nest, and some webbing. My photos didn’t turn out great, but I think you get the idea. Graham is in l-o-v-e with these trees. I think, since he helped create them, he is all about checking them out every morning to make sure everything is still in place.
Here’s a close-up look at our glittery guests. I used regular terracotta pots. Painted them black, filled them with sandbox sand, & used green moss for a filler. Soooo easy.
Here is the creator at work. He loved every minute of this particular project. From shopping, creating, to decorating. Usually this is not the case. But I was able to realize in my inpatient self, that he was getting into this project in a major way. So I included him in every step. I am so glad that I did. He says to me every morning that, “You did a great job, Mommy.” Which in turn, makes my heart melt, because really he did the great job.
Now, may I introduce our Templetons:
Via Martha Stewart Crafts from Michael’s (p.s. they are 30% off this week.) This is another favorite of Graham’s. Well, mine too. They just look so darn cute, don’t ya think??? So easy. Again, he was there every step of the way for placement. Along with the twins trying to climb the stairs. (That’s why I don’t have a photo of Graham placing these…the twins were out of control trying to get up the stairs – whew!)
Since we are on the subject of seasonal ~ Halloween. Let me just go ahead & get this over with…
Hello, my name is Kellie. And I have a Seasonal Product disorder.
I need serious help. I need to go to an addicts class. This was purchased in one trip, and it’s just seasonal food, for heaven’s sake. Two of these things were sent in a care package, but still all the same. Even my friends know my addiction. They haven’t planned an intervention as far as I know. I need help.
Michael’s Craft Store, World Market, Home Goods, TJ Maxx, Toys-r-Us are ALL in the same shopping center. So worth breaking out the stroller for a shopping excursion. Not to mention Jason’s Deli is right around the corner. (One of our favorites when we do go out to eat.) Again, so worth getting the stroller out! Now everytime we go to the shopping center, Graham asks, “What are we going to make today, Mommy?” I think I am turning him into a seasonal junkie as well.
Can’t wait to share what we got on our next trip to the center & Wal Mart in my next post…the next project, is my favorite!!!! Stay tuned.
btw, the Vampire Buried Pomegranate Jones Soda is the bomb!
THANK YOU!
