Mixing Bowl & Bakers Dozen Cookie Cutter Set – for ALL the holidays & seasons of the year!!! At World Market – $15.00, This bowl is the cutest thing. It has a handle to pour your batter & a non slidding bottom grip. One of the cutest gifts, I’ve seen this year.
If you are like me, and have already forgot some gifts, when you thought you were done…here’s a few suggestions. That I think anyone would like to receive. (Well, at least I would.) Neighbors, teachers, sunday school teacher, car pool driver, mail man, can you tell I forgot a few??? What was I thinking? I guess I wasn’t.
Winter Forest Lotion and or Soap Collection from Williams Sonoma. $7.00 – 10.00. I love this with all my heart, soul, & scents!!!:)
All I can say is…Amazon.com is having some A-Maz-ing magazine deals. They switch it around everyday. You could just wrap one up & tell them a year’s worth is one its way!!! $5.00 – 15.00 & sometimes for a 2 year subscription!
$18.00 – this frother can take your latte, hot chocolate, or milk shake to places never seen or tasted before. Bed, Bath, & Beyond!
The Pottery Barn small velvet stockings for $6.00!!! This could always be used to carry some home-made goodies to a neighbor, friend, teacher, or the best mail man – ever! (love ya, Steve!)
Now on to some snacking & munching!!!
A twist on a traditional Nuts & Bolts. Chocolate Drizzel Chex Mix with a Kick!!!
6 cups of chex mix
3 cups of pretzels
1 1/2 cups of honey OR toffee peanuts
3-4 tablespoons of butter
6 ozs of white chocolate melts
6 ozs of dark chocolate melts
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1-2 tablespoons of cayenne pepper (depending on the amount of heat & spicy-ness)
mix chex, pretzels, & peanuts in large microwaveable bowl. (I had to use 2 seperate bowls) melt butter, salt, vanilla, cinnamon, & cayenne pepper together. Drizzel & mix through the chex mix. In a microwaveable bowl – bake in microwave for 5 minutes, stirring together every minute. Then spread over wax paper, let cool. Melt chocolates in seperate bowls & drizzel over cool mix on wax paper. Then sprinkle & dust more cayenne pepper over the chocolate. Let cool completely. Then store in air – tight container.
Since I knew I wanted to give this spicy mix to some friends, I thought a label or more like a *warning* label was in order, so I printed up the label above. Also letting my friends know I included nuts. (Just in case.)
And then I accessorized the jars with some ribbon & a scoop. Is it okay to say, I love how they turned out? They look so darn cute. Now the nuts & bolts type recipe is from my brain (scarey, I know) but the idea came from the Archer_Farms_Chocolate_Drizzle_Snack_Mix that I was spending waaay too much money on, every time I went to Target. And that is alot, folks! But I love this mix with a twist. I am not a fan of the traditional chex mix, but this SWEET, SALTY, SPICEY combo…I am loving it! Now, I am off to put some socks on my feet, munch on this mix & wrap my last minute finds!
