Visiting with my family was a pure delight.
Celebrating Christmas, after Christmas was thrilling for all of us.
Having snow on the ground when we arrived, & more on it’s way, was the perfect present.
Watching the kids play in it was an experience. To umm, say the least.
We were able to see Graham sled for the first time. At what we thought would be about 10 feet, was exciting.
He smiled & kept going…
& going…
& going.
Watching the twins in their first “real” snow was emotional.
Trying to take all the beauty, reflection, & drama in was comical.
But not as comical as my Dad.
Watching my parents with the kids was wonderful.
Being able to spend time with my Sister is always rewarding & a lesson of pure love.
Watching Graham play with Auntie Sis is always fun to witness.
It is always heart warming to see cuddling or excitement as to what will happen next.
Visiting some of my favorite spots with snow on the ground, was like seeing them for the first time.
Loved going for drives where we couldn’t see anyone else for miles.
And, celebrating this guy…my Chief’s Bday was the “icing on the cake” for our visit. He looks even better to me now, then he did a few years back. And watching these 3 ~ while singing Happy Birthday to him…well, there was nothing like it!
