What was it like or how can you breastfeed twins? I have been asked this so many times by so many people. I never get tired of talking/writing about it. I guess when you literally expose yourself to the public that you are breastfeeding twins, the natural reaction would be to ask questions. All I will say for now, is YES, I am still breastfeeding the twins in the mornings & evenings. I just recently opened my/our story up to a breastfeeding forum & finally finished a written questionnaire about our whole experience. I will write a post about some of those questions & our experiences soon. But again, I would love to say if anyone has any questions about this topic, please feel free to email me. I have received at least 70 emails since I first wrote about our story. Finding time to answer has been a juggle, but at the same time I would love to help or answer more specific questions if you have some! I will never get tired of answering these questions, so please feel free!
My Sister. For those who wrote to share your story of a loved one with Down Syndrome, I appreciated each & every one of your emails. I was so touched that you felt you could share such sweet stories with me. I may do a post about My Sister later. As I shared with those who wrote, she is our family’s blessing. She is our gift. Yes, it was like having 4 kids in the house while she was here visiting, but I also had my #1 fan by my side. In her eyes, I do NO WRONG. It was, as always a special week to have her here with us.
Are you going to do more Blog Update Posts? This cracks me up! Said she who couldn’t get her link to work on twitter because of a typo! Yep. I will soon. But honestly, folks there are so many more people out there that are more gifted in the area of blog updates then I ever hope to be! Check out Funky Junk Interiors for one. She is so gracious in her knowledge & gives great advice.
Btw, I have signed up for Twitter if anyone wants to join the convo. Please feel free. I am learning this as well. I am just now seeing the instant power of twitter. It is like one big link party in itself. Crazy.
The famous shirt. How did you make it? In case any one missed the post about it, click here to see What all the Fluff is About!

Where do you live? We live in the great state of Tennessee! I was born & raised in California, but Chief has always lived within 40 miles from where he was born & raised. My Dad is from Tennessee. Once my parents retired, they moved to Tennessee by way of California & that is how I came to live here. Sometimes, I jokingly say, I was raised in the California sun with a Southern umbrella over my head. But it is very true in more ways then one!
What does your husband do that he is gone weird hours? Well, here’s a hint…”My baby takes the morning train…” He is an train engineer for Norfolk So. Railroad. He is on call 24/7. He is such a private person. If you all only knew. But, oh my goodness, he has come a long way since meeting me. 😉 We really are almost exact opposites in so many ways. But it works for us. Sometimes, we barely meet in the middle on an agreement. But as a whole, it is amazing how we click together for being so opposite.

He is also a farmer. This is a full-time job in itself. We have a small farm with cows. Perhaps, one day we will build a true farm house, but for now we are staying put in our house. To be honest, the farm is about 40 minutes from where we live now. The closest Wal-mart, Walgreen’s, basic needs type of store is about a 20 minute drive from the farm. I can honestly say, this may be one of many issues for this city/little bit of country girl. We shall see. (Just keeping things honest, here.) But no plans to build anytime soon.
And finally, I’ve been given an award! By the talented Amy Toler. I was thrilled to receive such a sweet gesture. Posting this has been long over-due. I have also been tagged by so many, and again I am late to post. I love reading tags. Not sure if anyone else out there does, but I feel you can learn so much more about a person with a tag. So here we go:
Top 7 thing YOU can’t leave home without *besides the kids*…:
7. A notepad/journal. My friend Susan Lucci gave me one & now I can’t live without it.
6. A cardigan sweater. Or what my friends refer to as a Nana sweater.
5. Breakfast. I have to start my day with a good breakfast or it wont be pretty.
4. Face moisturizer. If it’s a normal day w/out m-up, I’ve got to at least have some moisture.
3. Sunglasses. The most versatile accessory. For eyes, hair, covering day old m-up, you name it.
2. Camera
1. My Blackberry. Last year’s Valentine’s gift. I swear I love that thing.
Now I am passing along this award & this tag of top 7 things you can’t leave home without to:
My cousin Maegan, aka A little Twig Birdhouse
Sibi Mrs. Pearls and Grace
Christina mother of the Full House
Cha Cha from Sit Read & Relax
Rhonda Mrs. Thompson FUN herself
Elizabeth the one & only Kentucky Mama
