The coloring of the eggs – had to be one of my favorite activities this weekend. It was just Graham & I. I love those rare times alone with him. It’s such a treat. However, there were many more favorites this weekend. I sure wish my camera could capture the feeling of splendor we had spending some time outside on Easter Sunday. Hunting eggs while the church bells rang in the background, all under the warm sun, & blooming trees. It was a beautiful day! We stayed away from any public place just so we wouldn’t spread any germs. But it couldn’t have been a better day to play in the yard.
We tried our best to get a decent picture of the family. The hardest thing in the world is to ask a kid to be still for 5 seconds – when there’s Easter eggs to be found.
Finally got him & the dog. I love it – though! Such a true picture!
My tired, hot, sick kids. They gave it their all.
This guy thinks the Easter bunny is the coolest thing- ever! Since he left him a Har-moni-ca!
{Little does he know – it was from the dollar store.}
Another favorite of mine about Easter is having brunch type dishes. Such as shrimp and grits, queso-jalapeño soufflé, & strawberry cake. Especially when there is leftovers for the next day!
Hope everyone had a beautiful Easter. It is such an amazing day. Knowing all my sins have been paid for by His death & resurrection. Knowing, that He knows everything & His love for us is the greatest gift of all.
What a beautiful thing to be able to rejoice & celebrate in His victory.
