Hello! I am back for week 2. My friends are laughing at me ~ saying that I used to hate getting my picture taken, & now I am taking pictures of myself. Well, I still hate getting my picture taken – but honestly – I had fun last week, so I am back again. Plus, digging way back into my closet of old clothes has brought back some fun/old memories & not wearing the same thing over & over again has given me a new attitude. 😉 *Please tell me, I am not the only one that gets attached to old clothes & loves the memories that those clothes bring.*
Alright, here we go with week 2 ~
out to breakfast for pancakes with the kids & then grocery shopping
pink cotton cardigan – Target
pink & white stripe tank – Wal-mart
white linen shorts – Proffitts
Green flipflop Crocs
*we had a few mornings last week that were in the low 60’s…that is the only reason why I am wearing a cardigan, any other time in the South – I am dying of heat & humidity* the great weather didn’t last long, tho…;(
2 days of serious house cleaning this week. Trust me, you don’t want to see my face & hair on these days. Not a pretty site. Have I mentioned that this isn’t the best season for my big hair. It doesn’t do well in the Summer.
My favorite apron – World Market
white tshirt – Wal-Mart
cropped jeans – Gap
Out to dinner
vintage white Bill Blass skirt – another one from my Grandma *that I altered* it used to be real long
white tank – Kohl’s
white sheer cardigan – Ann Taylor Loft
turquoise necklace – Goodwill .99 cents
pearl earing’s – Target
close-up of the skirt. I love it even more since I made it shorter.
Platform wedges – Piperlime
The entire weekend the kids & I spent in some sort of water. This was my uniform for the weekend, along with pink lemonade.
bathing suit cover – it is a nightgown (I’m not kidding either, I talk about it in this post) from Kohl’s
bathing suit – Target
cotton white hat – best hat ever – bought on vacay in Laguna Beach 5 yrs ago
shades – Target
This week, I will try to be better about taking more pics. I tend to only take pics when we are actually doing something.
p.s. for those of you who emailed me or commented about the white tunic top in last week’s post from Target – here’s the link. THEY ARE SOLD OUT, tho. But I have had a few email me back to let me know they found one where they lived, so keep looking. Thanks for all the sweet comments last week. You really know how to make a girl feel good.
Special thanks to Elizabeth – Kentucky Mama who sent me the link for the tunic top.
***Elizabeth, I think if you & I lived in the same city, we would run into each other dressed just alike. – which is okay by me. ;)***
