I am so excited  for this party…I can barely stand it! 
LET’S GET TO IT!!!

I’ll begin by saying I was inspired by this Anthropologie lamp shade.  I fell in love with it the minute I saw it.   I was so inspired that I thought I would give it a try myself.

 Remember this picture a couple of weeks ago of my empty light fixture?

Meet my vintage/thrift store DIY Silhouette Lamp Shade:

I loveth her, all the way down to her pom pom rim!

Even though she was one of the most frustrating DIY projects I’ve done to date.  But I do think she turned out rather sassy, myself.

There’s a total of 6 silhouette frames around the lamp shade.
One frame to hold each of our silhouettes including our dog’s when we turn the light on.
I may do a post later this week on how I did it –  because that’s a post in itself.  Too many details for right now.

Because I want to see everyone else’s projects instead!!!

So excited to see what’s in store for our eyes on this link party! Because – there’s no limit to the imagination on this party!!!  CLASSIC, VINTAGE, MODERN, HALLOWEEN, or a mixture of all – anything goes here!!!

  6. My O My, I love it. I have a winter idea for your tree that I saw and thought of you, I will try to scan and email today, between loads of laundry. I wish I had a silhouette project finished for the party, I will have to wait and play next time but I am going to put your button up today. I have missed you.

Hi Kellie, love your lamp shade. was wondering if anyone can help me find a craft that I saw “somewhere” on the internet referencing a hand-washing soap jar that had been vinyl’d with hand washing type words. I just received my Silhouette machine and that’s one of the many projects I want to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  31. hey, m’am! love the lamp shade and all the silhouette links.. couldn’t link this week. swamped with other projects and completely uninspired for a project of my own… til a few hours ago. Got a great idea.. (a redo of one of yours) and hopefully it will be ready to link up next week!
