It’s probably no surprise to my regular readers to find me a little sentimental when it comes to decorating the twins’ nursery for Christmas. I love their room. It is a bright cheerful place full of beautiful memories. Ever since my oldest was born, I’ve decorated the kids’ rooms for Christmas in some sort of way.
I knew this year, I would need to be a little more strategic with my decorating since the twins are in FULL 2 year old curiosity mode. The idea came to me to decorate the top of the nursery armoire…it’s up high…they have yet to climb it…it.may.just.work.
Fingers crossed.
(We wont even discuss the tree “issue” yet.)
Here’s a peek inside their room when it’s clean. {Ahem…not too often these days.}
*Let me stop right here & add that every single piece of fabric in this room was handmade by my dear mother with love. I have no idea what I would do without my mom.*

It’s hard to believe on some days that I have 2 little ones that will be wearing these little Christmas sweaters. {Big bro has one too.} When I allow myself to stop & think, it really is amazing how little they are, but yet so full of life. These bright colors of pink & red represent their happy hearts so well. I am one blessed Mama. 😉

My felt poinsettia wreath was made by using this template.

My used to be gold frame was a $3.99 deal @ Goodwill. I sprayed it with a white high gloss paint.

Cute! I see they have one of those little plastic rockers. Do they like it? I’m searching for a gift for my 18 mo. old and saw one of those the other day and wondered if he would like it. Thanks!
Kellie, their room is adorable and I love that you decorate their bedrooms for the holidays. Such a sweet idea. My girls have those PBK rugs in their rooms too!

That is the sweetest nursery! I love how the cribs flank the window with the little table in between. The wreath in the frame is adorable as well as the little trees and the beautiful reindeer. I bet that space makes you so happy!
