I’m T.H.R.I.L.L.E.D to have Cheryl from a pretty cool life over here today. I’ve been a fan of hers for a long time. I love her style. I love her simple approach to life & her beautiful creations she makes. She’s a special one, I tell ya. If I would have to say a favorite, I think it would be her “Happy Sunday” posts, which usually have one beautiful picture captioned by a sentence or two. A Pretty Cool Life is a calming place & a lovely glimpse inside their life & home. She inspires me with every.single.post. I dream of taking pictures like Cheryl, wait till you see some of these below! They are just dreamy.
Hi friends of This Blessed Nest!
The girl hiding behind the camera is me, Cheryl, from a pretty cool life. I’m the stay at home mom of two little guys, I love making stuff, and I blog all about it.
I sew, craft, assemble, decorate, re-decorate, bake and build on a daily basis. Our house is messy and we eat too much carry out, but I love always being knee deep in some project.
I’m drawn to stacks of pretty fabric, colorful paper, sprinkles, ribbons, yarn, polka dots, gingham, little chairs, white dishes, spray paint and tools.
I could lose myself for hours in fabric stores, flea markets, IKEA and antique and thrift shops.
Oh, and I’m also teaching myself photography, so I take way too many pictures of all of those things. 🙂
If you’d like to check out some of the projects I’ve shared, try…

I have loads of other tutorials, crafts, and other fun stuff to share, so stop by and say hi!

Mine and Cheryl’s interests sound very similar. And I will be visiting that camera strap pattern. I had thought about buying one, but why when I can sew one myself. Thanks!
