This is exactly how I felt 11 years ago today.
I knew it was him the first night I met him, when he stepped on my toes & was apologizing like crazy. There was just something so southern sweet about it all. His geniune concern & the way he turned the whole awkwardness around into a laughable situation & great conversation. I immediately forgot how much my toes hurt & listened to his deep Southern drawl.
I knew within that hour of meeting him, I would marry him.
There was not a doubt in my mind.
Here we are, 11 years later…a mortgage, 2 cars, 3 kids & a dog. Still in love & at least once a month he still steps on my toes.

THANK YOU!
Ahh, I love it. I really think it is so special that you knew you were going to marry him with an hour. Did ya’all neet in California or Tennessee…or none of the above.
Thanks for missing me and thanks for being my friend who occasionally writes me a little note.
I sure do think the world of you.

Very sweet. Happy Anniversary. My husband and I will be celebrating our 12th anniversary next month. We have one child, 2 vehicles, and a mortgage too. But very much in love!

Happy anniversary! I love that quote … it reminds me of the Bible verse we used at our wedding: “I have found the one whom my soul loves” from Song of Solomon.
Happy Anniversary and congrats on 11 years. I love your little story ;-).

Congrats. We will be coming up on our seven years soon!
Happy Anniversary Sweets (a little late), we’ve been together 11 years now too. I just told someone on Pinterest in 11 years I have only spent more than 2 months at one time with my husband … once. When our first son was born. We need to work on that! but everything else … is still perfect. Toe stepping and all. We really do need to live closer. We cold have matching tin roofs and wooden shingles and all!
