He keeps me and his dad on our toes. But oh my goodness, is he ever a sponge right now. I pray they fill him up with all sorts of wonderful first things for his kindergarten year.
I decided to make our own sign the night before. That’s when cry-fest of 2011 occurred. Looking back, I’m glad I had my cry-fest before the big day. I was able to enjoy all the new things with him & focus on him, instead of holding back the tears.
Anyways, I made some signs for his classmates’ parents to use as well….so if you have a kindergartner whether a boy or a girl, here ya go:
Just double click on either sign & print away. I suggest using cardstock. It should print out to be the full page. If you want signs for other grades, go here & sign up for her printables. It’s where I got my idea from.
THANK YOU!

He is so handsome!!
Love the sign. I saw some photos of my 14 year old daughter’s friend, taken on the first day of several different school years and her parents always made the kids hold up the sign with the grade they were entering and the year on it. Oh how I wish I had done that because once they get bigger it is hard to distinguish what year is what unless you get them in an album in a timely manner (unlike how I do it!). I wonder if I can get my daughter to pose for me this year as she begins her first day of high school! She is my one and only, so believe me, there will be the cry fest of 2011 going on in NC, too!
