We had a great Fall break!
We experienced a lot of firsts as a young family.
Having the freedom to sleep in, do whatever we pleased – there’s no comparison. We also enjoyed having no schedule at all & eating bon bons or….
Pure sugar. I mean, it was Fall break for heaven’s sake.
BUT…..
Call me a nerd, but I love what Mondays mean being a mom.
It’s a re-group kinda day for me.
A fresh start all over again.
I’m really ready for it. A chance to stake my claim on our messy house. Make new stacks & clean out some drawers for the new season ahead.
And oh dear me ~ try & I do mean *try* my very hardest to get organized before all the holiday madness begins.
So bring on the Mondays.
I need all of them I can get.
p.s. it seems I had an addiction to tin metal this past week.
One of my favorite stores had 20% off those metal chairs I’ve been drooling over like forever…4 came home with me.
Our new tin metal roof is up. So thankful.
It all came together…
we drove back from my parents in my husband’s truck like Sanford & Son. Carrying my new (vintage) yellow metal glider.
I didn’t mind looking like Sanford & Son, just so you know.
I would just grin at everyone looking at my yellow beauty while we were driving down the interstate.
Can you believe, I found her at an antique store, fully restored, sandblasted & painted in the perfect shade of yellow?
Yep, I sure did.
Just like I was hoping for from my inspiration plans for our front porch.
I love when a plan comes together.
Hope you all are well. Anyone else starting or ending Fall break?
Here’s to a little re-grouping for the week ahead!
oh, one more thing~
The shop is back open for business.
Happy Monday!
THANK YOU!

Love that yellow glider! How do you always have the best luck at finding such awesome treasures? I guess if I went thrifting more I might find stuff, but when I go I never find anything. YOu got all the luck! 🙂
Hugs!!
