It just so happens that on our way to & from school we pass a party store. I knew this detour would be a big hit with all 3 of them. But in their own little way, they reminded me that having Mommy be just as goofy or wanting to play with them would be a lasting memory more than those silly glasses.
I get in a rut & become so focused during the week to get everything cleaned up that I don’t play with them as much as I should. But hearing their giggles turn into big laughter when all I did was put a pair of those glasses on, was a pleasant reminder that I need & should do this with them everyday. It’s all about finding that balance. Which is not easy for me to do.
Having done the simple act of placing those silly glasses on my head, I am now asked, “What are you going to be for Halloween, Mommy?” I guess now in their minds I should dress up, since I’m so good at it now. 🙂
Because, this *IS* the question of the month – – – What are you going to be for Halloween? And since the answer changes 5 times a day around here with all 3 of them, I thought it would be fun to share some of my PINS with you all…for some Halloween costume inspiration.

What a darling post! YOu and your kiddlets look precious! When my son was small he would start planning months in advance for his Halloween costume… Zoro, Robin Hood, Dracula, Rocky, Pirate… you get the picture.
Love these times up right now, they go by so quickly!
So sweet!
