You’re going to love this post on how to make silhouette ornaments – the easiest way ever! I made these 3 silhouette ornaments of the kids last year from start to finish in about 30 minutes. So yes, this is {kinda} a re-post, but ’tis the season for ornaments, great tips & fab results in a short amount of time – right?

How to make silhouette ornaments – the easiest way ever! With very little cutting involved. You’ll be done in minutes.
It could even be a dollar store frame & hot glue ribbon on the back of it. Any small frame will do. (I got these from PBK 3 years ago.)
Take a side profile picture of your kid(s). Sometimes this is easier said than done, if you know what I mean. Put a piece of tape on the floor for yourself as the photographer, and for your kid to stand on. But trust me on this, if you can follow these simple tips on how to make silhouette ornaments – the easiest way ever, you’ll be set to go to hang them on the tree. Or obviously, they make a sentimental gift as well.
and follow her EASY tutorial on how to use Ribbet.com – EDITED to add: her tutorial (and this post) are a few years old. Picnik – is now called Ribbet. It’s still the same dashboard and platform and you’ll be able to follow her steps to create beautiful silhouette ornaments of your kids.
They’ll look so beautiful and sentimental on your tree. Speaking from personal experience, I am so glad I created these several years ago. Time goes by so fast, and you want to capture those sweet profiles in every way possible. Until they become teenagers. LOL
Thank you & Merry Christmas.

I mean come on….we are sooooo stinkin connected to each other, it’s scary!!!! Seriously….scary!
I love that you added the little bow to your daughters hair. I have that tutorial saved to make some for my wall after Christmas. (I had to repaint the family room first.) But I am totally using the bow idea for one of my girls!
Love this idea! I need to get with it!
What a Great idea–I even have one of these frames and never could pick a picture for it!
