You know how men are, they like to pile things high. Stacked, packed, covered & smothered – as they say around here. Well, it’s no different when my husband is cooking. You can bank on a mess, and can count on every.single.utensil. being used! Yep, I’d say that’s about right. But really, he’ll do the dishes. So I am one lucky girl.
I took the above pic via my Instagram & just shared briefly how he makes these scrumptious fries. I don’t have specific measurements, because there again – it’s a “man” thing to dump ingredients in a pan or a dish. But I do believe you’ll get the basic idea and I promise you’ll drool just by reading what he does!
Sweet Potato Fries
peel, cut & fry in a iron skillet with vegetable oil over med heat.
once they are finished frying top with:
brown sugar, cinnamon & a vanilla melted butter
Mercy!
When he makes them for us, he typically makes 3 paper plates full. For proportions I would say he melts a half stick of butter & adds about a 1/2- 3/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the melted butter. Give or take.
they are D-I-V-I-N-E!
Trust me!
