Hello Hello!
What a fun series! I mean, you can never go wrong with someone basically telling you what’s their most favorite tool & their top secret tips! You can’t buy that kind of info!
I’m thrilled to be guest posting over here. One thing is for sure, there’s so many wonderful, fabulous tools out there to be able to create anything. My tool of choice to share today is the GO! Baby cutting machine made by Accuquilt. I think it would be pretty fair to say that I use it at least 4 days a week. It truly is an amazing little machine!
The above is one of their Fall dies. Basically you cut whatever type of supply (paper, card stock, fabric, felt etc.) you want to fit the shape of your die & run (or roll) it through your machine. Yes, it’s that easy! You just layer your fabric in between a die & a cutting mat. Your power is your arm turning the handle. For this simple project I used wool felt.
The cuts are so precise & far better than cutting by hand. Accuquilt is also a very seasonal company (we love those seasonal companies, don’t we?) They have a die or 2 for every season! Here’s another example of what I made with the leaves last week. The possibilities are endless!
Whether you’re sewing, making a quilt or decorating your home you’ll find many uses for the GO! Baby. It is an investment piece, but one that you wont regret having in your supply of resources.
