There is a time for everything,…..a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.
Ecclesiastes 4:4

I am still at a loss of words. There’s so much I can say, but yet I find it so hard to express my feelings. I’ve never had the gift of writing when it comes to situations like this. I just know that joy was stolen, little lives filled with bright futures. Babies that may of changed our world, little artists, little leaders of all sorts of possibilities were striped from us. Teachers who love their students & had a true passion for educating are gone. Parents’ hearts our broken. Houses are empty & cold. Little beds are empty, parents are planning funerals instead of planning Christmas, no more macaroni & cheese requests for dinner, no one to rock to sleep. No little pitter patter of feet coming down the hall to greet you in the morning, no chubby little arms to hug your neck.
All the promises of tomorrow…gone.

Many bloggers are respectfully pausing today to reflect & give tribute, or even have a day of silence. We’re holding our children tighter & our friends closer. In hopes that we all will share this burden together for the people of Newtown, Connecticut. We respectfully pause & will gather ourselves together to celebrate The King’s birth next week. The One who came to conquer this evil & give hope to all who believe.
