Hello Hello!
I’m finally back to the normal everyday hustle & bustle here at home. When you’re old like me, it’s hard to recoup from a blogging conference. Especially one where sleep is minimal Nonetheless, a swell time was had by all & a wonderful time was had by yours truly. I teamed up once again with Stickygrams in sponsoring my trip to the SNAP! Conference & they in turned made these gorgeous one-of-a-kind stand out above the crowd (in my humble opinion) stickygram business cards for me to hand out while at SNAP. Yes, they’re my IG pictures & I just added text to each picture to turn them into my business cards to hand out at SNAP. In case you didn’t know, Stickygrams are your instagram pictures turned into magnets. And it’s pure genius to use them as a gorgeous business card, because then people will remember you…and (hopefully) use them on a regular basis. #winning!
Below are some of the crazy pics I took while at the SNAP! Blogging Conference.
Why does it always take the longest to get to a place when you’re so excited? I am the worst when it comes to waiting!
Once we arrived my cousin Maegan (SAHMaegan) & I rented a car, & headed to see some sights of Salt Lake City. Yep, my cousin & I were roomies once again. It was wonderful to be reunited with her. We started blogging together at the same time, and since we live on the opposite sides of the country, SNAP brings us together one time a year to do all things girly & cousin-ey.
We were able to mix in both fun times & of course learning some blog related things as well. From blogging sessions, to the Queen Bee Market & of course eating – we made our way through Salt Lake City. It all goes by so fast & sometimes you just want time to stop so you can soak it all in just a little more.
We allowed ourselves time to smell the flowers, eat & party like we were rock stars! 😉
And I loved that we gave ourselves time to “just be” while we were there. I also loved visiting with so many others & seeing old faces & meeting new ones. It’s a thrill to meet people IRL that you’ve made a connection with online. SNAP makes the real life connection possible & I will always be so grateful to Tauni & her team who pull it all together to make it happen.
The conference ended with a big dance party. And I can assure you I probably had many more facial expressions than the ones pictured above, but Maegan happened to catch the 2 on the right & the fun photo booth station had me in stitches.
I couldn’t wait to get back to my kids. I missed them terribly. But on the flip side, having time away with Maegan & meeting people in real life (finally) after an online connection is a wonderful thing. You realize there’s hundreds millions of bloggers out there that love everything you do. You find a connection with your passion, you get to discuss things you love & most of all you get to hug friends you were never able to do before.
Oh SNAP! Thank you for bringing us all together & making the connection possible.
