Nothing welcomes Spring inside like some fresh blooming branches, in my opinion. Add a pretty pink color and it’s a total win for me. As I have said before I love a gold & pink combo. It literally makes me weak in the knees.
So when I decided to combine the best color combo ~ ever ~ with one of my favorite hymns, it was a total win for me. So may I introduce my Amazing Grace Pink and Gold Spring Mantel???
So being that I am in the South, Tennessee to be exact, we could always call this my blush & bashful mantel.
In addition to my blush & bashful canvas, I also decided to add gold glitter to it while it was drying for added texture & of course SPARKLE! Because every Southern girl loves some SPARKLE! Let’s stop right here for a second & say that this canvas is amazing in person! It is so beautiful, when the sunlight catches the glitter & the gold foil lettering it is gorgeous! But it is also the hardest sucker to photograph! I hope you can see the glitter and then of course the Gold Foil Lettering. My photographing skills do not do it justice!
Along with adding blush, bashful & gold to my mantel, I also wanted to pull in some natural elements. Delicate Spring details balanced with beautiful Spring colors. I shopped my yard, my blooming trees & transplanted some ivy for a fun floral arrangement.
I used my Silhouette Cameo to make the letters. The process is all the same, as my Talking Pots post from last week. It’s all basically the same concept, I just used more gold foil sheets for bigger lettering.
I also added my In the Spring Forest Wreath to the mantel. I loved the balance it gave with the floral arrangement on the other side.
A simple mantel display with a beautiful message. That’s probably my favorite type of mantel to decorate, if I were being honest.
It allows room for your imagination to run and that’s always a favorite activity of mine.
Now that I’ve shared my fun Easter mantel, some of my favorite creative friends and I are pleased to invite YOU to wow us with yours!
