Hello Hello!!!
Today, I’m showing off my craft room – once again! I haven’t shared this space in a while, so when Angie from The Country Chic Cottage asked me to join in on her craft room tours, I gladly accepted! This craft room is one of my favorite rooms in our almost 100 year old Sears Catalog Home. I love walking into this little A-frame room. It’s my very own spot in our house, & I love it. This room is very much my personality = fun, vintage, whimsy, with a mix of re-purposing blended in.
It truly is filled with new, old, vintage, junk, upcycled things to make it all work for me. My husband & I worked on this room a few years ago, and it has served me very well. To see how we made this peg board click over here.
I LOVE this Mason Jar storage chubby. I found the chubby at a retail store – going out of business sale & I am SO glad I got it! It’s the perfect size to hold the mason jars for buttons, tags, stamps, glue sticks – you name it!
Like I mentioned above, my husband asked me what I wanted for Valentine’s & my b-day (they are close together) a few years back, and I told him I wanted this room, & a little help from him to get it up & running. You can read about how we did it on a dime, scrap & from the trash here.
You can also read how I made this cute DIY Frame Pin Cushion by going here.
Blogging is all about sharing, finding & giving inspiration, in my opinion. This sewing machine gives me tons of inspiration. It’s a hand-me-down from my Mom. I love having it in this room for inspiration & when I blog. There are so many memories from my childhood involving this sewing machine & I am pleased to say I’m making new ones for my kids, as well. I feel it makes this room complete.
It’s a small little room with no doors & extremely odd shape walls. But thankfully it is all mine, a room where I get to create & blog. Obviously, sometimes (many times) my projects are too big for this room, and then we head to the dining room table…
Because sometimes you need a lot of elbow room to create!!! Here’s the post about our dining room if you would like to see that as well.
If you would like to see more craft room inspiration – there’s a big group of bloggers sharing their space!
