Please allow me to introduce you to my latest guilt(less) pleasure, Rosemary Sea Salt Chocolate Covered Bacon. Who doesn’t love bacon? And when it’s covered in rich decadent chocolate ~ it takes it to a whole new level. I’ll share how I make this using regular ingredients or with Keto approved ingredients below.
The other ingredient I added was Keto approved brown sugar. I will say this has a wonderful taste and texture just like regular brown sugar. But again, it is made with Stevia and contains sugar alcohols – so use with caution. When I making it for my husband and kids, I’ll use regular brown sugar and dust a pinch or two on each piece of bacon. When love brown sugar in this house.
Rosemary Sea Salt Chocolate Covered Bacon
Thankfully, this delicious rosemary sea salt chocolate covered bacon is not difficult to make at all. It's just gathering the ingredients, cooking the bacon, and adding the delicious toppings.
Ingredients
- 6-8 slices of cooked bacon
- 1/2 cup or 2-3 squares melted chocolate chips or squares
- 1 sprig/cut fresh rosemary
- few pinches sea salt
- few pinches brown sugar
Instructions

Cooked your bacon to your liking. I cooked mine in the oven.
In a microwave safe bowl, melt your chocolate in 20 second intervals, stirring until melted.
Spoon chocolate or dip your bacon strips in your melted chocolate. If you're on Keto - just coat one side of the bacon with your chocolate.
Dust & top with Rosemary, Sea Salt & Brown Sugar.

Adding the rosemary to chocolate covered bacon brought it up to a whole new level. Lately, I’ve been seeing Rosemary used with so many different combinations. It always makes my mouth water, and of course the smell of Rosemary is so earthy and beautiful to me.
