Christmas Kitchen Tour - Nest of Posies

Hello, my friends & c’mon in for my Christmas Kitchen Tour. She’s a work horse, I tell you. She’s the hub of our home, can get messy in a matter of seconds, but can also shine like a new penny.

I’m thrilled to being sharing my Christmas Kitchen Tour with all of you for the Seasons of Home blog tour. The Seasons of Home tour is hosted by my friend Kristen from Ella Claire Inspired. I’m one of those weird moms, that love to decorate for the seasons early. It is very beneficial for me to decorate early as a blogger, but I personally like getting a jump start on it. I feel more in control of our busy lives. Which also allows me to enjoy the holidays more – since I prepared & decorated early. My kids, of course love it as well. If you think about it, we have more months to enjoy Fall decor more than we have time to enjoy Christmas decor. And I think we all have more Christmas decor than Fall decor, right???

So don’t wait – get going. If it’s too soon for you to put up the tree, don’t do it. But you can start adding layers to your rooms or maybe even your kitchen. I promise, you’ll feel so much more in control as a mom and cruise director of your family.

I’m a big fan of neutral decor, but I also love color. Some would argue that green is a neutral. Either way, it was fun adding in the emerald green color with some copper accents for my Christmas Kitchen Tour.

I love all the twinkle lights, and I try to add them anywhere I can. It’s also so relaxing to me at night, once the dishes are done to have a string of lights on in my kitchen. It’s like my exhale moment. Our kitchen is part of our family room – basically an open concept design. It’s hard getting such a big space cleaned up at the same time. But during the holidays, it seems everyone is “on board” to tidy up the space so we can enjoy the decor and the glow. That alone makes me so happy that my kids cherish our home and the Christmas season.
