Cleaning your home when you have pets

But there are certain pet messes that you’ll have to embrace and cleanup after your pet.  If  you were “on the fence” of whether to get a pet or not, I would honestly tell you not to sweat it & get the pet!  They’re so worth it!  Cleaning your home when you have pets can be a breeze if you have the right products.  That’s where Swiffer and Febreze come into play.  All of these products can be found at your local Target.

Here’s what I or my kids do on a regular basis:

• Spray Febreze FABRIC Pet Odor Eliminator on our linens or rugs
• Swift with our dry Swiffer every other day – if not every day in the Spring
• Use the Swiffer WET Pet Refills when spills or accidents take place
• Dust with the Swiffer Pet Dust Refills

Another thing that I try to clean every season is our ceiling fans.  There’s always so much build up of dust on our fans.  For our family room that has the high ceilings, I get my step ladder out & use our dry Swiffer.

And for our regular height ceilings, I’ll trap the dust with the Swiffer Pet Duster.
