This recipe comes together in a matter of minutes, and it will make your house smell absolutely divine. Surprisingly, it’s only a few ingredients but when this Cherry Cheesecake Dump Cake comes out of the oven, you’ll immediately want to find a bowl. Like – immediately. And perhaps the most comfy pair of socks you own, your favorite chair in your house and some whip cream. That’s all you’ll need in life.
It’s starts with a Chessmen Cookie crust. (Easy, right?) But it continues to be easy, and that’s the beauty of this recipe. Because it is just like all the other “classic” dump cake recipes. Minimal amount of time, but huge taste and let’s not forget the feeling of comfort you have when you take your first bite. Years ago, I posted my recipe on a classic Cherry Dump Cake that to this day is so delicious. This one with cheesecake + a chessmen cookie crust is just a twist on the classic.

This Cherry Cheesecake Dump Cake is perfect on a weeknight or to make on the weekend, because there’s little time invested in making this recipe. You can serve it with ice cream or with whip cream. Our personal favorite is with whip cream. Another item you can always add to the top is nuts, such as praline or walnuts. Either way it will taste amazing!
