Our local farmers & vendor market is awesome. Today happened to be the local Dahlia Society’s Day to sell their gorgeous flowers. Needless to say, I was dumb founded as to how many to get. They were all absolutely beautiful.
It was just the four of us, and we did pretty good, considering. Graham usually goes in the stroller when we are in crowds or is getting sleepy. It was both, this time around. But once we passed the kettle corn, well somebody woke right up!
Like all markets, they have a great variety of things. This honey is from one of my best friend’s family bee farm. It is so good.
Handmade feather headbands. They were beautiful. Simply gorgeous in person! The soaps & candles smelled heavenly.
They have a great kids station. Trains, soldiers, & magnets tables. Today they had great story tellers, that were so animated.
Of course, we had to pick up some veggies for our Oktober Fest week 2. Meal posting – coming soon.
We couldn’t leave without getting a pumpkin. Even though, we have started a collection. But a 3 year old little boy, is really “into” the pumpkins right now. I told him, he would have to carry it, because my hands were full. He said, “No, problem. I got it.” And he did. All were asleep 2 minutes after leaving…
so it was home again, home again, jiggety jig.
