But last week, things happened that were out of my control. For example, the wheel of my stroller coming completely off with the 3 in tow, miles away from the truck. My wallet falling out of my purse/diaper bag, and me not even realizing. These are just a few of the many things that happened last week. ALL of these events, I could of never handled without a complete stranger(s) kindness. I always try my best to be in control. I pride myself on being able to handle most situation that arise. But last week, I was truly humbled by what complete strangers can and will do, given the occasion. Not that I couldn’t of picked up the phone to call someone, if I had too. But the willingness of strangers helped me return home, returned my wallet, open doors, place a wheel back on, stepped up in a questionable situation, and even loaded groceries in the truck while I snapped all 3 in their car seats.
Can I just say there is no place like the South when it comes to kindness or to live for that matter. People smile, say “hey”, or give you a nod, just about all the time. May I also add, that if it wasn’t for the Good Lord sending me these complete strangers my way, this mother of 3 would have been in tears, stranded, broke (temporarily), and who knows what else all during last week. I say all of this just to testify how blessed I was last week. Also, in saying this, realizing that I was on the receiving end of kindness. How good it felt to have help in many of my situations last week. I’m also aware that giving is better then receiving. I’ll probably never see these people again that helped me, but I hope & pray that they are blessed in a true way. I am so thankful and humbled by their kindness.
THANK YOU!
